is it possible to transfer fat from tummy to hips???

  3. Innovations Medical January 6, 2011 at 6:43 pm - Reply

@commuty It's "possible" but it isn't a very good place to do it. The fat just doesn't survive well there when you transfer it. It's best to stick to the usual 4 areas: Butt, Breast, Hands, Face

@dallasdrj Uhh… did u no they also use stem cells w/ the fat too so it wont die away cuz the stem cells help the fat to survive

@karianime1990 Yes, we use PRP to activate the stem cells to get a higher fat cell survival.

Since it's fat, wouldn't it sag after a while. Silicone sags too but wouldn't fat make them saggier?

  10. Innovations Medical March 22, 2012 at 5:21 pm - Reply

not necessarily. The fat that is injected is replacing the fat that was lost over time. This fat loss is what causes the breast to sag. By replacing it with active fat cells, and as long as you don't lose weight, the cells stay in place.

I wanted to know why most doctors say that the fat transfer doesn't really work if you wanted to go from an "A" size to a "C cup".. and that it doesn't last.. I have implant's for 10 years but would love to do a fat transfer to obtain the same result's.. Also I'd like a tummy tuck but would like to have 1 more child. What do you think???

  13. Innovations Medical September 11, 2012 at 8:12 pm - Reply

It's a simple answer for both questions. First, fat transfer isn't a good option for someone wanting to go from an A to C cup. The main reason has to do with how much skin will stretch to make room for the new fat, and also the fact that fat is not a good shape forcing media, but is a great filling media. Hence, if your breasts were a C cup before (due to pregnancy, implants, or weight gain), then there would be enough skin to fill with fat. Secondly, fat survival is determined by technique.

Depends on 2 things. First is 1 cup size increase enough? And Secondly, do you have enough fat to remove from an area?

Is it possible to do this procedure if you have Diastasis Recti? Can you also transfer fat to the buttocks? I just found out through researching online that I have Diastasis Recti as my baby is two years old and people look at my stomach and think I am pregnant. I knew something was wrong, am sooo happy I know what it is now. I do not want to go through the long scar from full tummy tuck I have a rather small scar from 3 c-sections.

Honestly there are NO good . They aren't healthy for your body at all and once you loose the wgihet and stop taking the pill you gain more wgihet then what you had before..I used to be 5'8 and 130 pounds and i started running every day and eating health now i am down to 112 pounds (still 5'8)So instead of pills, exercise and find time to eat right that is the only effective way you will loose wgihet.Good luck

I had DR too and I was tired of people asking me if I was pregnant. I promise you there are exercises on youtube for that, just look them up. I've been doing them for less than a month and I'm satisfied with the results so far. Best of all I have not done one single sit-up, just isolating and squeezing my tummy muscles. P.S I too had 3 c-sections.
